  • Overview

    The director of pricing reports to the senior director of marketing and has the opportunity to be a business owner responsible for managing and executing our pricing program related to a $600M portfolio, driving profitability and sales.  The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker that can lead a team in a fast pace environment and solve/triage issues.  Passion and desire to make a difference is a must.


    • Be responsible for managing and executing our pricing program related to a $600M portfolio, driving profitability and sales
    • Lead your team to optimally execute the pricing program
    • Develop your team to realize professional growth potential (within pricing and beyond)
    • Regularly interact with and present to senior leaders, including the president
    • Leverage in-house subject matter experts (SMEs) to hypothesize and test pricing strategies and tactics
    • Refine and retool the pricing process to increase efficiency and accuracy
    • Be versatile and capable of addressing new challenges as the organization evolves
    • Engage with cross-functional teams regarding systems (e.g., feedback on upgrades), reporting (e.g., monthly updates for business units), contracting (e.g., coordination on contracts and RFPs), supply chain (e.g., product supply analysis), and organizational development (e.g., alignment with West-Ward Values and Hikma Code of Conduct).


    • A bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (MBA or PHD preferred).
    • Management consulting experience is a plus.
    • 3-4 years of applicable experience.
    • Proactive, strategic thinker who has an ability to anticipate needs.
    • Strong communication, organization and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple complex issues simultaneously
    • Ability to thrive in a high-performance environment; proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
    • Excellent organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
    • Comfortable engaging individuals of all levels in the organization.
    • Curious and able to respectfully challenge the status quo.
    • Demonstrated project management experience; proven ability to execute complex projects with multiple stakeholders to deliver fast, quality results.
    • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking abilities; enterprising and resourceful, self-starter and team player.
