  • Overview

    The Associate Director, Trade Operations Solutions for Hikma Commercial Generics Business Unit will partner with the senior leaders in the supported domains to ensure that the Generic Marketing and  IT Portfolio (projects and systems) aligns to and enhances the business strategy of these functional units.  The functional units supported, include:  Sales & Marketing Generics, Government Pricing, Sales Analytics, Pricing and Strategy, Customer Operations, Contracts and Finance.  This position reports directly to Sr. Director, Marketing Generics. 

    Responsibilities

    • Through active consulting with the Business and IT, ensures functional roadmaps exist in areas of support and that these are directly tied to the Portfolio.
    • Develops and manages executable roadmaps within Generic Marketing and IT applications.
    • Collaborate with Senior Management on matters such as aligning on target business outcomes and approaches.
    • Identify key business problems to highlight value areas and structure and implement complex business and technology solutions. Drive process performance improvement, diagnosing the problem, planning and leading the transformation when assigned.
    • Advise, lead and work on high impact activities within the systems development lifecycle, and provide advisory work partnering with IT functional Teams.
    • Support commercial operations and IT team members and develop strong, agile working relationships that will allow for delivery of process excellence.
    • Define business case and roadmap to enhance and expand capabilities to enable strategy when assigned.
    • Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with generics market demand.
    • Deliver advisory services in support of technology enabled business change.
    • Identify and assess complex problems and create solutions that requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors which are implemented by the team.
    • Design new business processes based on commercial team requirements, conduct user review sessions and run stakeholder agreement meetings.
    • Implement programs that prepares the organization for implementation of new business processes.
    • Identify the organizational impacts related to a specific change in process, technology, any other project change and develop the change management plan.
    • Design solutions for moderate to complex organizational change challenges.
    • Responsible for creating detailed project work plans, managing activities and deliverables and providing feedback to team members and to leadership stakeholders and decision makers.
    • Proactively and continually develop expertise in software technology and industry to increase your knowledge base and capabilities.
    • Be aware of specific trend and challenges and develop Hikma’s “thought capital” through involvement in industry-specific groups, conference and seminars.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, MBA Preferred.
    • 10+ Years of experience in the functional domain of Sales & Marketing, preferably as in-house role as well as consultative experience.
    • Expertise in SAP ECC and S4/Hana.  Knowledge or experience with Vistex, Model N or customer relationship management tools a plus. 
    • Experience leading and managing teams in a multi-location environment.
    • Experience in Life Sciences (preferably Generic Pharmaceuticals) or similar regulated industry.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to effectively communicate, analyze, and problem solve.
    • Extensive experience as an implementing and supporting SAP services.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Good influencing skills across organization (senior executives to end users) as well as internal IT team members.
    • People and project management skills.
    • Change champion.
    • Must be flexible to travel.
