  • Overview

    The Manager, Pricing & Analytics will be responsible for customer analyses for the Generics business unit of Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. The Manager will assist the pricing team to establish pricing tiers in support for all products in the portfolio by class of trade. The Manager functions in concert with Supply Chain, Forecasting, Finance and the Executive Team to develop pricing tools, BI analytics that optimize top-line revenue and portfolio profitability.



      • Develop analytical tools in excel and Power BI/Tableau which will aid in pricing
      • Develop reports to support products/customer sales trends, project customer net sales and calculate customer profitability.
      • Ensure existing customer pricing matches pricing tiers, propose adjustments when there is a misalignment.
      • Assist Pricing Team as required to prepare pricing proposals in response to customer one-off request and RPFs for Generics Oral Rx Drugs.
      • Develop schedules for Product Life Cycle Management
      • Support forecasting in analysis of impact on balance sheet and P&L statements.
      • Conduct meetings/conference calls to clarify specifications and pricing issues. Take action on all action items from meetings/calls to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
      • Maintain customer pricing proposal databases and models.
      • Quarterly WAC analysis, Monthly Portfolio analysis and recommend pricing options to increase portfolio value.
    • Work with Strategy team and IT team on implementation of CRM, data harmonization project and business reporting requirements.



    • 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical analytics and/or pricing role for Generic Business.      
    • Preferred 1-2 years of experience managing direct reports, training and mentoring the team.
    • Preferred candidate with experience of pricing or contracting with Retail and Wholesaler Buying Groups (WBAD, Red Oak & ClarusOne) and other direct customers and Group Purchasing Organizations.
    • Flexible, proactive, strategic thinker who has an ability to anticipate needs.

    • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking abilities; enterprising and resourceful, self-starter and team player.

    • Comfortable engaging individuals of all levels in the organization.
    • Strong communication, organization and coordination skills.
    • Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel), preferred with hands-on experience in using Excel functions such as Vlookup, Index, Sumifs, Countifs, Pivot table for data analytics
    • Preferred experience in managing databases (SaaS, Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Oracle, Excel.
    • Preferred experience in using development tools such as SQL, VBA, Power BI and/or Tableau.
    • Preferred candidate with knowledge of data analysis using third-party site such as Medispan, Analysource, IQVIA (Formerly IMS) Market Share Data.
    • Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred.
