  • Overview

    The Pricing Analyst serves as the individual charged with accurate pricing of generic pharmaceuticals for West-Ward’s non-injectable product line. The Analyst functions in concert with Forecasting, Supply Chain, and management to develop pricing proposals that optimize top-line revenue and portfolio profitability.



    • Develop pricing proposals in response to customer inquiries.
    • Create and adjust pricing tiers by product & Class of Trade based on market events, internally-driven strategy shifts, and bid responses.
    • Ensure existing customer pricing matches pricing tiers & strategy, proposing adjustments or removals when misalignment occurs.
    • Support Forecasting in analysis of impact on balance sheet and P&L statements.
    • Conduct meetings/conference calls to clarify specifications and pricing issues. Take action on all action items from meetings/calls to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
    • Maintain customer pricing proposal databases and models.



    • 1-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical analytics and/or pricing role.
    • Proactive, strategic thinker who has an ability to anticipate needs
    • Ability to learn quickly and execute with new found understanding (e.g., industry, business models, products, technology)
    • Demonstrated project management experience; proven ability to execute complex projects or policies with multiple stakeholders to deliver fast, quality results
    • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking abilities; enterprising and resourceful, self-starter and team player
    • Ability to thrive in a high-performance environment; proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
    • Excellent organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
    • Comfortable engaging individuals of all levels in the organization
    • Curious and able to respectfully challenge the status quo
    • Strong communication, organization and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple complex issues simultaneously
    • Strong client consulting acumen, including exceptional networking skills and a demonstrated ability to influence
    • Excellent slide development capabilities (PowerPoint)
    • Experience in managing databases (SaaS, Access, and/or Excel) with programming experience, particularly in VBA, preferred.
    • Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred
